Install DVB-Support (1) – Video Codec

Then Install AC3 Filter (2) - Audio Codec

This product should only be installed if the user is having difficulties playing a DVD in windows media player. This codec is only used for Mpeg 2.0 DVD’s

 

Pre-requisite

 

Please Note: These are free Codec files and can be installed on the user’s pc

 

Before installing this application, please ensure you installed the video codec first and then audio.

Manual Installation

Video Codec

 

  1. Click this location on the internet and select the Run button:

  1. Setup will now begin

  1. Please only Select : Power DVD 8.0.2021 and Mpeg2 Decoder v8.2.0.813
  2. Click Next

 

  


 

 

 

  1.  Please use the Default Location and click ‘Install’

 

 

  1. Installation will now begin

  1. Please  De-select Documentation and Translations , Make sure ONLY Program and All AC3Fliter are SELECTED  ‘Click INSTALL’

Removing the Folders (optional)

 

  1. Browse to below location

 

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs

 

  1. Highlight  DVB SUPPORT AND  AC3FLITER FOLDER
  2. Remove the folder via right click and delete menu option

 

INSTALLATION COMPLETED
